Edith Taylor Thomas, 82, died yesterday evening at the residence of her daughter.
Thomas was a member of Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Thomas is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Ottis Barber of Thomas; twogranddaughters, Kerry Ann Nielson of Hackley and Janet Lynn Thomas of Thomas; two sisters,Rachel Meyers and Vileare McClendon both of Ponchatoula; five great-grandchildren and fourgreat-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 5 p m until 10 p m today and after 9 a m. tomorrow.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p m tomorrow at the Crain Funeral Home chapel with Eld Don Jacobs and Eld Bob Lowery officiating.
Burial will be at Thomas Cemetery.
