Ava Jean Magee, age 75, a resident of Bogalusa, died at the LSU Bogalusa Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Magee; two daughters, Celia Jean Myers of Kiln, Miss., and Tammy Lynn Williams of Covington; three sons, Jack D. (Ilene) Sumrall of Jackson, Charles Terry (Maria) Magee of Bogalusa, and David Bryan (Debbie) Magee of Bogalusa; two sisters, Willie Mae Burge of Sylverena, Miss., and Evelyn Duncan of Bogalusa; sisters-in-law, Mary Margaret Bufkin of Sylverena, Miss., and Sarah Ann Terry of Bogalusa; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son, Mark Anthony Magee; her parents, Willie B. Bufkin and Addie Evelyn Beech Bufkin; and two brothers, Buddy Bufkin and Tubby Bufkin.
Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Monday, with a funeral at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday.
The Rev. Tommy Varnado officiated with interment at Ponemah Cemetery.
