Bob Magee(Died September 14, 2004)FRANKLINTON n Bob Magee, 51, a resident of the Lawrence Creek community died at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday in the St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was a tugboat captain for 20 years for Tony Towing Industries on the tub Pat Hand, and a member of the Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Ramona Varnado Magee; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bobby Shane and Kristie Magee, and Dakota Shade Magee; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy M. and Bryan Gerald; a stepson and spouse, Robert Jimmy Jr. and Angie Jenkins; his mother, Wilkie Thomas Magee; three brothers and spouses, Jimmy Magee, Kenneth Roy and Joyce Magee, and Mack and Jackie Magee; two sisters and spouses, Karen M. and Junior Williams, and Vivian M. and Bruce Ard; five grandchildren, Kelsey, Dexter and Austin Magee, Evan Bankston, Cristin Flynt, Ashlyn Gerald, Drew and Savannah Jenkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. All survivors reside in Franklinton.Preceding him in death was his father, Woodrow Magee, and a brother, Glen Magee. Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today and will continue after 9 a.m. tomorrow until time of the funeral service, to be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Elds. Lerand Hunt, Richard Magee, and Ronald Wilson will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Magee Cemetery at Lawrence Creek.
