Jimmy Magee(Died Oct. 5, 2005) FRANKLINTON - Jimmy Magee, age 64, a resident of the Lawrence Creek community, died at 2:48 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 at his residence. He was a member of Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a produce farmer.He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Becky Magee of Franklinton, Tammy and Randy Magee of Bogalusa; a son, Jimmy Woodrow "Woody" Magee of Franklinton; his mother, Wilkie Thomas Magee of Lawrence Creek community; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Joyce Magee, Mack and Jackie Magee, all of Franklinton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and J.R. Williams. Vivian and Bruce Ard, all of Franklinton; three grandchildren, LaTasha Dunaway, Victoria Welch and Chasity Anthony.He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Magee; and two brothers, Glen Magee and Bob Magee.Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Crain Funeral Home, continuing after 8 a.m. Friday, The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Lerand Hunt and Eld. Bobby Lowery officiating. Interment followed in the Magee Cemetery in the Lawrence Creek community.
