D.N. Magee died April 13th in his 76th year. He was the eldest of 4 sons and 3 daughters of the late Nehemiah Magee, only 1 member of the family now surviving, Tom Magee.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Fannie Varnado Magee, 3 sons, Hubert of New Orleans, Malcolm of Bogalusa, and D.N. Magee, Jr. of Edcouch, Tx., 3 daughters, Mrs. Marie Weaver of Rayville, La., Mrs. Mildred Baldwin of Dallas, Tx., and Miss Natalie Magee of Franklinton. Interment was in the Ellis cemetery.
