EVELYN FORREST KNIGHT, AGE 80
Died peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Ollie Steel Burden Manor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
She was born September 5, 1927 on a dairy farm outside of Franklinton. She was the oldest of five children of Otto and Vera Forrest. She worked for the Washington Parish Clerk of Court for 48 years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, visiting with friends, and helping those less fortunate.
Survived by: Daughter and son in law: Martha and Harold Bagley of Gonzales, 2 Sons and daughters in law: Delos and Susie Knight, Tim and Chris Knight all of Baton Rouge, 6 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by siblings Nathan Forrest, Otto Forrest, Jr., Vicki Forrest Lawson and Larry Forrest and former husband Delos L. Knight.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home after 10 AM Saturday, August 2, 2008 until time of funeral service to be held at 3 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Internment will follow in the Ellis Cemetery.
