KNIGHT, MISS. LELA MAYE
Died 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 1988, at Riverside Medical Center, Franklinton. She was 78, a native and resident of Franklinton. She was a retired public health nurse with Washington Parish Health Unit.
Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 6 to 10 p.m. with Eastern Star services at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and after 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by Dr. Jerry Barlow and Dr. A.W. Robbins. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton.
Survived by numerous niecesand nephews. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Franklinton and was past worthy matron of Noble Queen Chapter No. 45, Order of Eastern Star. She was past Grand Esther of Louisiana and was a board member of Washington Parish Council of the Aging.
