SIMMONS, Paul Buren Died 4 p.m. Thursday April 3, 1986, in an automobile accident near Covington. He was 41, a native and resident of Franklinton . He was a mechanical engineer for Crown Zellerbach Corp., Bogalousa. Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton , until religious services at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by Dr. Jerry Barlow, and Dr. A.W. Robbins. Burial at Magee- Springhill Cemetery , near Franklinton . Survived by wife, Mrs. JoAnn Magee Simmons, Franklinton ; a son, Jason Paul "Jay" Simmons, Franklinton ; two daughters, Wendy Ann Simmons, and Melissa Lynn Simmons, both of Fanklinton; mother, Mrs. J.D. (Melba) Monk, Franklinton ; father, Van B. Simmons, Ponchatoula; a brother, Jimmy Simmons, Franklinton ; and three sisters, Mrs. James (Marilyn) Singleton, Franklinton , Mrs. Phil (Ann) Petras, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Jimmy (Kathy) Casico, Lafayette. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinton , and served on the Bowling Green School Board of Directors, in Franklinton .
