LAFAYETTE - Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Steven D. Guidry, 68, who died on Friday, January 20, 2017 at his residence in Houma, Louisiana.

Reverend Gary Schexnayder, Pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, will conduct the memorial services. Lectors will be Josie Guidry and Tara Guidry. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing for the services, "Amazing Grace", "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman", and "How Great Thou Art".

Survivors include, one brother, Mark Guidry; one sister-in-law, Lisa Guidry; three nieces, Josie Guidry, Tara Guidry and Nicole Devillier; and three great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Guidry and Betty Fournet Arboneaux; and one brother, David Guidry.

Steven D. Guidry was a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and resided in Houma. He worked as an investor in the real estate business "flipping" houses. Mr. Guidry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He also enjoyed dancing at Whiskey River Landing in Henderson and painting in his spare time. Mr. Guidry loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 11:30 AM in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Location.
