Wife of Murvin Eroy Miller
FRANKLINTON - Netta Bateman Miller, 88, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at
Riverside Medical Center. She was a native of Mt. Herman and a member of
Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Danny Dupree
Miller of Magnolia, Miss., Donald E. Miller of Franklinton and Bobby Gene
Miller of Jackson; four daughters, Mary Nell Stollenwerck of Kentwood,
Margie Ann Stewart of Wilmer, Betty MCain of Amite and Bonnie Sue Jones
of Niagara, Wis.; one brother, Frank Bateman of Hammond; one sister, Inez
Bahm of Franklinton; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Murvin Miller; her parents, Daniel and
Carrie Bateman; five brothers, Louis, Hershel, Milton, Rufus and Claude
Bateman; one sister, Laura Mae Fussell; and one grandchild. Visitation
will be today at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, from 6 to 9 p.m. and
Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Stanley Statham, the Rev. Troy Bankston and the Rev. Joey Miller will conduct the funeral at 2 at
Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Mt. Hermon.
