Warren Dale Miller, age 49, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, September 30, 2009, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born July 4, 1960, in Ramstein, Germany, to CMS (Ret.) Dale E. Miller and Marjorie Glee Miller. Warren was a lively brown-eyed little boy who loved to tease, a trait he carried through life. He became an avid reader, especially of history, and earned a BA in History at Southwest Texas State University, a Masters in History and Archeology and was a Doctoral Candidate in History at Louisiana State University. Other great interests were collecting books and woodworking. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Amber, 22; Amber's mother Michelle Robertson of Boerne; father, Dale E. Miller and stepmother, Jan; mother, Marjorie Glee Miller and stepfather, Raymond Woodard, sister, Molly Kovarik and husband, Craig and children, Jack, Paige and Kate. Warren was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, J. C. and Neva Miller and maternal grandparents, Clyde and Miriam Sutton, all of Louisiana. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Selma, Texas.
