Wife of Hubert Clay Sanders
Elois Merritt Sanders Miller, age 86, a resident of Hattiesburg, Miss., died at 7:10 p.m. Monday, April 14 in Walthall County Hospital at Tylertown.
Born October 6, 1921, she is survived by one son, Henry Clay Sanders of Franklinton; two daughters, Lillie Dykes and Joan Varnado, both of Franklinton; one sister, Estelle Slay of Columbia, Miss.; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Clay Sanders; second husband, Thomas Edgar Miller; a daughter, Eloise Sanders Jenkins; a granddaughter, Theresa Thomas; and a grandson, Shelby Jenkins.
Visitation was held today at Crain Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Stan Statham officiated, with burial following in the Springhill Magee Cemetery.
