MILLER, J. OLAN
A retired hardware clerk, dairyman and cattleman, he died at 1:23 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 1998, in Franklinton. He was 83, a resident of Franklinton and a native of Mount Hermon.
Visiting at Crain Funeral Home chapel, Franklinton, 9 a.m. Saturday until funeral services at 2 p.m., with Dr. Gene Richards and the Rev. Thomas Graves officiating.
Burial in Ellis Cemetery .
Survived by wife, Elsie Frickie Miller, Franklinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles O. and Shirley Miller, Metairie; a daughter and a son-in-law, Marcia and John L. Bickham, Franklinton; five grandchildren, John Charles and Christopher Miller, both of Metairie, JoHannah Stroud and Lynn Bienvenu, Denham Springs, and Patrick Bickham, Baton Rouge; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by first wife, Ruby Fisher Miller; parents, Marion and Ella Miller as well as a brother, O.C. Miller. He was a member and deacon of Springhill Baptist Church.
