October 21, 1929 - November 10, 2006
Jim A. Barber, age 77, a resident of Bogalusa, died Friday, Nov. 10 in LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Annie B. Barber of Bogalusa; one son, James Wesley Barber of Alexandria, Va.; one daughter, Janice Lynn Myers of Longview, Texas; one sister, Mildred Graves of Franklinton; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. Visitation continued Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Tommy Morgan officiated, with interment following in Ponemah Cemetery.
