Born July 28, 1933 and passed away December 30, 2015. She was the mother of four boys (Joy's boys to most), wife and homemaker. She grew up in the house her father built on Well Road in West Monroe, where the I-20 is now located. She loved reading, listening to music, spending time with family, and camping trips with Jim all over the United States.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Worthington; eldest son, Mike Thomas; parents, Ralph and Ollie May; and sister, Wilma Louise Byrd.

She is survived by sons, Daniel Ralph and wife Jackie, Guy Worthington and wife Gwen, David Lee and wife Kathy, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
