Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church for Guy C. Williams, 44, who died April 15, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Services will be conducted by Fr. Robert Seay, OFM.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Randall Williams; one son, Guy C. Williams II; three daughters, Gayla Williams, Chasity Thomas and Crystal Taylor, all of Lafayette; his parents, Mary Williams and Lincoln Granger of Lafayette; brothers, John (Angella), Romone (Janell), Jody and Lance; sisters, Isabella (Nathan), Shelly and Sarah Shequanna, all of Lafayette and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Passionella Willis; maternal grandparents, Isabella and Gabriel Williams, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Georgiana and Lincoln Granger, Sr.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Syrie Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
