Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Memorial Chapel of Syrie Funeral Home at 11:00 AM for Walter Williams, Jr., 62, who passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 40 years, Grace Francis Williams of Lafayette. Two sons, Brice Anthony Williams and his wife Ardina of Atlanta, GA and Cullen Lindley Williams of Lafayette. One sister, Gloria Ann Williams of Lafayette. Mother in law, Gladys Francis of Lafayette. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Theresa Wiltz Williams. Sister, Morella Williams Mosely. Maternal grand parents, Henry and Lovinia Wiltz. Paternal grandparents, Hester Smith and Rev. Murphy Williams. Father in law, Irvin Francis.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 AM until time of services.
