AMITE n Myrna D. Creel, 72, a native of Tylertown, MS and a resident of Amite, died yesterday at noon in her home.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Stephens of Amite; her children, David Lee Callihan of Benton, TN, Herbert Lynn Callihan of Greensburg, Sharon Marie Callihan of Bolivar, Delores Gail Callihan of Amite, Janice Mae Callihan of Tangipahoa, Kenneth Ernest Callihan of Kentwood, William Albert Callihan Jr. of Chesbrough, and Bruce Callihan of Kentwood; four sisters, Vivian Williams of Bogalusa, Gloria Jean Woods of Tylertown, MS, Pauline Ridgedell of Bogalusa, and Juanita Creel of Bogalusa; two brothers, Ralph Creel of Cleveland, TN, and T.C. Creel Jr. of Crosby, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a son, Dennis Ray Callihan; a daughter, Debra Ann Lee; and three sisters, Hattie Lee Blackwell, Ruthie Lee Steele, and Evie Lee Dunaway.
Visitation will be held at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite from 6-10 p.m. tomorrow and will continue tomorrow from 8 a.m. until time of the funeral service, to be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Nobles Cemetery in Pine.
