BICKHAM, DAVID W.
A member of the Franklinton Board of Aldermen serving his fifth term, who had served as mayor pro-tem on several occasions, and a retired grocer, he died at 7 a.m. Sunday, June 13, 1999, at his residence in Franklinton. He was 42 and a native of Franklinton. Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. Religious services at First Baptist Church, Franklinton, at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Karl Tingle and Dr. Jerry Barlow officiating. Burial in Ellis Cemetery . He issurvived by his wife, Rebecca Boutwell Bickham of Franklinton; a son, Blaine Bickham of Franklinton; a daughter, Cassie Bickham of Franklinton; his mother, Walterine H. Bickham of Franklinton; three brothers, Brad Bickham and Charles Bickham, both of Franklinton, and Phillip Bickham of Breckenridge, Texas; and a sister, Jane Dillon of Crossroads. He was preceded in death by his father, Benton E. Bickham Jr. He was an active member of Franklinton First Baptist Church, where he served as coordinator ofthe RA program and also the nursing home ministry and Sunday school. He was a member of the Louisiana Municipal Association.
