BICKHAM SR., DORTEN CLYDE
A retired engineer with the Louisiana Department of Highways and native and resident of Franklinton, he died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1996, at St. Tammany Hospital, Covington. He was 86. Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Spiller Milton and the Rev. Tommy Babington. Burial in Ellis Cemetery . Survived by wife, Chessie Mae Richardson Bickham, Franklinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Clyde Jr. and Sharron Bickham, Franklinton; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Virginia and Carl Bradow, Houston; six grandchildren, Carolyn Christina Bradow, Carl Wade Bradow Jr., Jeffrey Todd Bickham, Stephanie Lynn Bradow, Heather Leigh Bickham and Shana Gibson; and two great-grandchildren, Kyle Christian Bradow and Jarred Michael Bradow.
Preceded in death by parents, Dorten Carrol Bickham and Maud Magee Bickham. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and Franklinton Masonic Lodge No. 101, F&AM.
