Died 9:15 am Saturday, February 24, 1990, at Riverside Medical Center, Franklinton, Louisiana. He was 73, a native and resident of Franklinton. He was a retired grocery store operator in Franklinton and US Army veteran of World War II, and ex-POW. Visiting at Crain Funeral Home, Franklinton, 5 to 10 pm Sunday, and 8 am to religious services at 2 pm Monday, conducted by Dr Jerry Barlow. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton. Survived by wife, Walterine Hunter Bickham, Franklinton; sons, Brad Bickham, Charles Bickham and David W Bickham, all of Franklinton and Phillip Bickham, Palestine, Texas; daughter, Mrs Joe (Jane) Dillon, Crossroads, Mississippi; sister, Mrs Margie Ann Burris, Franklinton; and eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Mr & Mrs B E Bickham, Sr.
