Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Syble Smith age 80 of Mooringsport, La will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Vivian, LA with Rev Eddie Dehondt officiating. Interment will follow at Mooringsport Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, March 17th from 6-7 PM.

Mrs Smith was born in Claiborne parish to James and Mytrice Henley and passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at Claiborne Healthcare in Shreveport, LA following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Smith was a CNA employed as a private sitter. She was a member of Mooringsport Baptist Church.

Mrs Smith was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Trema Cathrine Driskill.

She is survived by her two sons, Leo Driskill and wife Vickie and William Driskill all of Mooringsport, LA; grandchildren, Brenda Jones and Jason Driskill and wife Crystal all of Mooringsport, LA, 5 great-grandchildren and one very special friend Tommy Collins of Mooringsport, LA..

Family would like to extend a very special thanks to the staffs of Clairborne Healthcare and Life Path Hospice.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Collins, Jayden Driskill, Weldon Hester, Ken Nations, Horace Clifton and Bootsie Tarver.
