A graveside service for Susie May Jones, 76, will be held 12 noon Monday, October 6, 2014 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday, October 6, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Susie was born in Coushatta, Louisiana to Jefferson Davis and Chloe Long Upshaw on July 29, 1938. She passed away on October 1, 2014. She loved blue grass music and listening to the gospel singers. She was a faithful follower of The Cowboy Church of Ellis County. She is proceeded in death by her parents; loving husband, Archie Edward Jones; sons, Richard Jones and Roger Jones; sisters, Naomi Price, Fleta Faye Coffey, Elaine Upshaw; brothers, Charles Darwin Upshaw and Wesley Upshaw; great grandchildren, Lexi Marie Jones; grandchild, Gregory Allen Jones. She is survived by her son, Robert A. Jones and wife Penny; sister, Juanita Berry, Bill Upshaw; grandchildren, Kevin Locklear and wife, Kim, Savannah Duncan and husband, Harold, Anthony Edward Jones; and great-grandchild, Kylie Duncan.
