Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Howard J. “Haywood” Francis, 54, who died April 3, 2013 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Haywood is survived by his mother, Velma Alfred Francis; three children, Haywood, Terrell and Jeremy Francis; two brothers and their spouses, Joseph “Wallace” Francis (Rona) and Sidney Alfred (Beverly Ann), as well as a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Francis; his maternal grandparents, Laura Andrus Alfred and Whitney Alfred, Sr. and his paternal grandmother, Effie Augustine.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. until time of service.
