Daughter of Willie and Ona Faye Thomas Breland
Funeral services for Pamela Ann Breland, 48, were held at 10 am yesterday in the chapel of Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown. The Revs Harold Gaddy and Lerand Hunt officiated and burial followed in the Thomas Family Cemetery.
A resident of Hattiesburg, Breland died Thursday at her home. She was born February 23, 1955, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, the daughter of Willie and Ona Faye Thomas Breland of Hattiesburg who survives. She was disabled. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Abner Elijah and Montoria Cooper Breland and Lucious and Rebecca Brock Thomas.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by brothers, Roy Keith Breland of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Willie Elvis Breland of Hattiesburg; sister Dr Brenda Faye Thomas of Hattiesburg; four nieces; three nephews; five great-nieces; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were Roy, Elvis and Troy Breland, Robert Earl Vince, C.W. Polk and Bruce Turnage. Honorary pallbearers were Melvin Rawls, Eddie Sorrell Sr, Dr Kurt Bruckmeier, Dutch Pace, Dr Ralph Abraham and Dr Alphonse Willis.
