July 4, 1918 - February 19, 2007
Breland, William E. Retired from Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill and a resident of Kingwood, Texas, he died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007. He was 88, born July 4, 1918, in Bogalusa.
Mr. Breland sat on the bench in the mornings with his little dog while he ate his breakfast. He lived in Forest Garden, across from Deerwood School, and would wave and talk to everyone who passed by.
He is survived by a daughter, Billie Ruth Corman Breland-Smith of Kingwood; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie Sue Givens; father, William "Bill" Breland; mother, Ruth Coon; brother, Frank Breland; and two sisters, Mildred Seal and Macy Wilson.
Visitation at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Hugh Wallis. Interment in Ponemah Cemetery, Bogalusa. .
