Daniel Leroy Breland, pioneer resident of Pine, died Wednesday, at age 80 years. Survivors are 3 sons,
E.Y. of Franklinton, Delos of Baton Rouge, and Rufus Breland of Houston; 2 daughters, Mrs. William Henry
Knight of Pine and Mrs. Ida Orr of Bogalusa; 1 sister, Mrs. H.D. Crain of Bogalusa, 12 grandchildren, and 12
great grandchildren. Burial was in the Nobles cemetery.
