FRANKLINTON Regina Gougenheim Manning, a resident of Franklinton, died yesterday in her home after a lengthy illness. She was a loving and devoted mother.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty M. Schilling of Franklinton; a son, Buddy Manning of Franklinton; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a loving niece, Juanita Fredericks of Morgan City; and a sister-in-law, Nita F. Brumfield of Franklinton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy C. Manning Sr.; her parents, Samuel and Lizetta Gougenheim Sr.; a sister, Lizetta G. Goular; and two brothers, Samuel Gougenheim Jr. and Ralph Gougenheim.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, where she so lovingly served the Lord. Father Bill Blank will officiate at the service.
