(Died February 24, 2002)
VARNADO - Sadie Crain Pierce, 83, a resident of Varnado died yesterday at the Bogalusa Community Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Varnado and a member of Hilltop Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Rennette Boyles of Sugarland, Texas; a son, Bobby R. Pierce of Varnado; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Pierce.
Visitation will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home today from 5-9 p.m. The funeral service will be tomorrow at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Elder Mark Hobgood will officiate.
Interment will follow at Hilltop Baptist Church Cemetery.
