TYNES, MATTIE BRABHAM
Died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1986, at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace R. Dunn, Baton Rouge. She was 90, a resident of Baton Rouge 10 years, native of Kentwood and former longtime resident of New Orleans. Religious services at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Al Even, minister of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial in Ellis Cemetery , Franklinton. Survived by two daughters, Winifred Dunn and Lynelle Cournoyer, both of Baton Rouge; a son, Edwin F. Tynes, Bogalusa; a sister, Ruby Roberson, Lacombe; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Edwin F. Tynes Sr. She was associated with Shenandoah Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
