Son of John Fred and Lela Bankston Bond
Maxwell Joseph Bond, 51, a resident of Rt. 2, Franklinton, died Sunday in Shreveport. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, a native of Louisana and a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 2P.M. tomorrow in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home in Franklinton. The Rev. Jerry Kennedy will officiate. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetary, with military rites.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Imogene Gray Bond; daughter Toni of Oklahoma City; and two sisters Mrs. Hilda Coyle of Franklinton, and Mrs. Geraldine Reynolds of Bogalusa.
Pallbearers will be John R. Brumfield, Nathan T. Forrest, Fred Spears, Fred Toney, Dubby Pettitt, and Ford McKenzie.
