December 22, 1887 - October 4, Willis P. Tucker, 88, of Farmerville, La., died Wednesday morning at a Farmerville clinic following a short illness. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Zion Hill Baptist Church conducted by Dr. D. P. Worsham, assisted by Rev. James C. Houston. Interment followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Spears Funeral Home of Farmerville. Survivors include: two sons, Walter Tucker, Junction City and Clete Tucker, El Dorado; three daughters, Mrs. Charlie Kennedy, Farmerville, Mrs. Eunice Neeley, Mer Rouge, La. and Mrs. Corbett Beaird, Shudruth, La.; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Odom, Farmerville; seven grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Henry Tucker, Pearlie Tucker, Pirkle Tucker, Bobby Tucker, Ondus Odom and Clyde C. Beaird. (The El Dorado Times - February 18, 1965)
