Funeral services for Ethel Nolan, 91, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Kilpatrick’s Funeral Home in Farmerville, La. with Bro. John Saunders officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 till service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery, in Bernice.
She was born in Three Creeks, Ark., August 31, 1927 and died January 9, 2019. She was a resident of Arbor Lake Nursing Home and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Farmerville.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Nolan, her parents Ernest Lavelle & Mary Lonnie Ledbetter, one brother Jessie Ernest Ledbetter, one sister Anna Ledbetter Cook, one grandson Robert Lavelle Smith and two Great Granddaughters Megan Rene Smith and Brianna Gail Smith.
She is survived by one sister, Eunice Ledbetter Smith, one brother, William Cook and wife Beth of El Dorado, three sons, Jewel Lavelle Smith and wife Lynn of Chatham, Arthur Claude Smith of Spearsville and Mike O’Dell Smith and wife Amie of Spearsville, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews.
