Funeral services for Reita Brooks Nolan, 93, of Farmerville, Louisiana will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Sardis Baptist Church in Farmerville, Louisiana. Rev Bob Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM at Sardis Baptist Church until time of service.

Mrs Nolan was born on December 29, 1923 in Union Parish and passed away on July 14, 2017 in Farmerville, Louisiana. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church in Farmerville. She was a Nurse Anesthetist for 50 years in the El Dorado area. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all her heart and was an avid gardener, and traveled extensively.

Mrs Nolan is preceded in death by her husband Wilburn E Nolan; father Clarence Brooks and mother Viola Cole Brooks; eight siblings Vera McCloud, James Brooks, Hazel Pinion, Earnestine Purdue, Bo Brooks, Bessie Goodwin, Clarence Brooks, Jr and Mary Ann Brooks.

Mrs Nolan is survived by her son Aubrey Nolan and wife Amy of Slidell, Louisiana and three grand - children; Reita Fisher (Todd) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Carol Seng (Sitha) of Pflugerville, Texas and Ryan Nolan (Kristin) of Los Angeles, California.
