Margret Yvonne Moore age 92, passed away November 25, 2008 at Promise Hospital in Shreveport after a recent illness, she passed away peacefully in her sleep. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 29, 2008 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home in Vivian, LA at 2 pm. A visitation will be held Friday from 3:30 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Mooringsport Memorial Gardens.

She was born March 15, 1926 to Myrtle Estalle Pierce Myres and Archie Roland Myres. She was married to Larry Jackson and also to Pinkie Moore. She was employed with Texas Eastern Gas Company. She retired from Shreveport City Hall at the age of 63. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mooringsport.

She is survived by her daughter; Beverly Diane Young and husband Jay, her grandchildren; Rodney Sanders and wife Anna, Marcy Crawford and husband Micky, Becky Arnold and husband Todd, Angie Hale and husband David and Reva Woodall and husband Audie, her great-grandchildren; Dustin, Kalub, Zachary, Garland and Wyatt Sanders; Morgan, Courtney, Michael and Zachary Crawford; Maylana Arnold; David Jr., Matthew, Mary and Angel Hale; Audie Jr. and Emily Woodall. Pallbearers will be Steve Sanders, Bubba Sanders, Timmie Bean, Ray Bean, Don Sheppard and Joe Hawkins.
