Shreveport, LA - A Graveside service for Gloria Lowe Foster, 85, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Mooringsport, LA. Her son Pastor Jay Foster will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, prior to the service at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA.
Gloria was born February 2, 1932, in Haynesville, LA to Alpha Williams Lowe and Sam Lowe and passed away January 4, 2018, in Bossier City, LA. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren by whom she will be greatly missed.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Travis W. Foster; daughter, Phyllis Foster; and son, Monte Foster. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jay Foster, and Brian Foster and wife, Amanda; daughters, Tanya Jackson and husband Larry, Pamela Foster, and Sheila Barmore and husband Randy; brother, Mickey Joe Lowe; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
