Funeral services for Peggy Pearson May, age 74, of Dubach will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach, LA. Rev. Connie Smith and Rev. Randy Lee will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. May was born on August 11, 1937 in Ferriday, LA and died on June 23, 2012 at her Dubach residence. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach. Peggy retired from a banking career which spanned over 30 years. She dearly loved her customers and loved serving them. "Maw" as she was known by her family, will truly be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jennings Carl Pearson and Mildred Marie Taylor Pearson and her grandson, John Joseph May. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles Milton May, Sr.; children, Charles Milton May, Jr. (Milt) and wife Angel; Jennie M. Cole and husband John; Christopher Wade May and wife Kayla; grandchildren, William Chase May, Corey Wade May and wife Jill, Charles Caleb Rhea, Joshua C. Cole, Jordan D. Cole, Evan Wade May, Eli Charles May; and a host of wonderful friends and loved ones. Pallbearers will be five of her grandsons and Barry Bagwell and James Colvin. Honorary pallbearers will be younger grandsons, Evan and Eli May. A special thank you to Dr. Ben Grigsby, Dr. Michael Langiulli, Dr. Howard Murray, PNC Hospice, and caregivers Toni Lathon, Dorothy Davis, and Luci Smith for all their care and compassion. Memorials may be made to DRABO and Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach, LA. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.
