Mausoleum

Maisie Joan Perrin, aged 89, passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2022, after a short illness.
Maisie was born in England on May 18, 1933, to Albert and Jessie Holland. She was working at Kodak, when she married John Perrin. After he finished his time in the Royal Navy, they emigrated to Canada and later to the United States. Maisie worked at Commercial National Bank for many years, working her way up from Personnel to Assistant Cashier, then for Milton Crow, Inc. before she retired. Maisie and John loved to travel, taking ocean cruises, trips across America and home to England. Maisie loved to cook for friends who loved her sausage rolls and trifle. She always enjoyed her cup of tea and chats with family and friends.
Maisie was preceded in death by her loving husband John Perrin and parents, Albert and Jessie Holland, sisters, Dorothy Muriel Mathews and Lesley Anne Broomfield.
Left to cherish her memory are brother David Holland, of High Wycombe, England, sister Mary Dennison, Shreveport, LA, brother-in-law Ray Broomfield, Bexhill, England, sister-in-law Norma Smith Stephens, Sydney, Australia; nieces Elaine Brakefield and husband Eric, Pamela Short and husband Blanchard, Shreveport, LA. Great nieces Heather Brakefield and Jessie Short from Shreveport, LA, whom she adored. She also leaves many relatives in England and Australia.
Special thanks to her caregivers who tended to her every need with love. Also, to Christus Hospice for their tender care in her final months.
A memorial service officiated by her dear friend Pastor Keith Adcock, will be at Osborn Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 2.00 p.m.
