Funeral Services will be held at an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 23, 2013, in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Rose Guilbeau Rivoire, 75, who passed away on March 20, 2013 at 9:45 am at her residence. Reverend Brian Taylor, Pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Rivoire, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Elie Guilbeau and the former Theresa Douet. She was a devout Catholic, loving mother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Ronald James Rivoire of Lafayette, LA; one daughter, Chrysta Rivoire Broussard and husband Kevin of Youngsville, LA, and three grandchildren, Caleb Joshua Snell, Dakota James Broussard and Hunter Michael Lanerie. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Saturday from 8:00 am until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Kevin Broussard, Gwin Montou, Dakota Broussard, Caleb Snell, Duane Rivoire and Michael Miller.
