Breaux Bridge – Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Shirlene M. Davis, 57, who died July 18, 2018 at her residence.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Father Jerome Cletus.
Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. Nesley Davis and Mrs. Genevieve Sam Davis; two sisters, Ella Davis of Breaux Bridge, LA and Irma (Ernest) Pierre of Houston, TX; her brother, Edmond Davis of New Orleans, LA; nephews, Spencer Henry of Carencro, LA, Aaron Pierre of Baton Rouge, LA, Brent Davis of LaPlace, LA; one niece, Sherzelle Davis of LaPlace, LA; five great nephews; four great nieces; three godchildren and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edmond and Lydia Sam and her paternal grandparents, Amilcar and Amelia Davis; one godchild; three nieces and her godparents.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m.
