Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:30 am at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Ahniiya Joulee Ann Martinez, 9 who died December 8, 2015 at St. Martin Hospital.
Services will be conducted by Father Joe Campion.
Interment will be in St Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
She is survived by mother Tawana A Martinez; stepmother, Shatoya Levy; father Roderick Martinez; brothers Daylon Martinez and Tyrese Martinez; sisters Shylah Martinez, Rolasia Martinez, Tyasia Martinez, all of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; grandmothers, Nancy Martinez of Breaux Bridge, Patrina Levy of Abbeville, Louisiana, Nadra Lewis of Houston, Texas, grandfathe, Kenny Tilmon of Houston, Texas; great grandmothers Hilda Martinez of Breaux Bridge and Pearl Price of Houston, Texas; Godparents Darren and Patricia Martinez of St Martinville, Louisiana and Raven Davenport of Abbeville,Louisiana and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary E Alexander; maternal great grandmother, Marie R Castille; great grandfather Roger Martinez; aunts Judy Alexander and Kennekia Tilmon and uncle, Sherman Alexander.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 am.
