LAFAYETTE - Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11 am at St Anthony Catholic Church for Ranson Russell George, 37, who died April 21, 2013 at Lafayette General Medical Center,
Services will be celebrated by Father Lambert Lein, SVD. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother Rena George; daughter Camaryn Tessier; son Gailen George; sisters Belva George of Shreveport, Shelia George of Lake Charles, Roxanna George, Priscilla George, Iris George, Lynor Thibeaux, Melissa Frank, all of Lafayette and Althea Alfred of Texas; brothers John "Conwell" Alfred, Wesley Frank, Damien Gobert, all of Lafayette and Kenneth Prejean of Texas; his special friend Marilyn Joseph, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Russell "Goody" Alfred; sisters Carolyn "Pine" Ledet, Sarah George, Laura George; brother Edward "Shine" George; paternal grandmother Ida Alfred; maternal grand - mother Laura Ledet Scott; grandfather Oliver George, and nephew Telas George.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be recited on Friday at 9 am.
