Clifford “Cliff” George was born to Anna Mae George and Harry Parker October 30, 1957. Sunday, March 5, 2017, Cliff was called home to be with the Lord.
Clifford was a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, but spent the last few years as a resident of Austin, Texas. He was a hardworking, loving, outgoing person who had the biggest heart. Clifford enjoyed going to the race track, Evangeline Downs. He also enjoyed dancing. God has truly taken one of the best from us, our legend, Cliff.
Cliff leaves to cherish his precious memories, son Jarvis Goodman; daughters Timyra (Marcus) Goodman and Brittany Goodman; Helen Goodman, mother of his children and devoted companion, Marilyn Washington. He also leaves grandchildren; Deonte, Sanirah, Trell, and Jalandon; sisters, Betty (Ronald) Sampay, Myra (Clarence) Celestine; brothers Jerry (Sandra) Parker, Gradney (Cynthia) George; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Clifford was preceded in death by parents, Anna Mae George and Harry Parker; brother James “Jimmy” George; sister, Rose Mary George Carmouche; grand -parents; and several nieces and nephews.
His smile and sense of humor was one of a kind, one that will carry us through these difficult times. Cliff will forever and always be in our hearts.
