MAURICE - Funeral services will be held at an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton for Geraldine Campbell, 71, of Maurice, LA, who passed away at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 with all of her loved ones with her.
The Reverend Aaron Melancon, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass and conduct the funeral services. Deacon Keith Anthony Duhon will assist.Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, LA.
Geraldine, daughter of the late Odra Hebert and the former Effie Bergeron, was a native of Delcambre. She has resided in Maurice for the past twenty five years. Mrs. Campbell was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will sadly be missed by all. Survivors include her husband, Felix John Campbell of Lafayette; two daughters, Renee McDonald of Lafayette and Rachelle Kyle and her husband, Jeffery Kyle of Church Point, LA; three granddaughters, Brandi Berzas and husband Cody Berzas of Lafayette, Kristy Campbell and husband Jeremy Borque of Lafayette and MiKayla Etta McDonald of Lafayette; great grandchildren, Lainey Renee LeBlanc, Johnny Dean LeBlanc, Emma Claire Bourque and Ethan "Matthew" Bourque.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Kelly Credeur, Gloria H. Thibodeaux, Josephine H. Duhon.
Pallbearers will be Cody Berzas, John David Campbell, Kevin Duhon, Kent Duhon, Kern Duhon and Jimmy Sandridge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Dean Leblanc, Jeffery Paul Kyle, Jeremy Bourque and Lester Meaux.
