A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Felix John Campbell, 74, who passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 9:20 am at his residence in Maurice, LA.
Reverend Aaron Melancon, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services and will be assisted by Deacon Keith Duhon.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, LA.
Mr. Campbell, a resident of Maurice, LA, was the son of the late Adam Campbell and the former Una Menard.
He is survived by his two daughters, Renee McDonald and Rachelle Kyle and husband, Jeffery; his son, Phil Campbell and wife Belinda; five grandchildren, Brandi Berzas and husband Cody, Kristy Campbell and husband Jeremy Bourque, MiKayla Etta McDonald, Zephera Jeminez, and Zachery Campbell; great grandchildren, Lainey Renee LeBlanc, Johnny Dean LeBlanc, Emma Claire Bourque, Ethan "Matthew" Bourque, and Jasmine and Olivier Jeminez; his brother, Roy Campbell; his sisters, Shirley Duhon, Betty Romero, Linda Theriot and Peggy Trahan and his brother, John David Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Geraldine Hebert Campbell.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 8:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Phil Campbell, Roy Campbell, Jr., Adam Duhon, Larry Hebert, Ronald Romero, Jr., Brian Trahan, and Kyle Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Kyle, Cody Berzas, Kent Duhon, Kevin Duhon and Kern Duhon.
