Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Allen David Clay, 51, who died September 16, 2015 in Pasadena, TX.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
He is survived by his fiancée, Laura “Penny” Francis; his daughter, Krystal Boudreaux; grandson, Terran “C J” Broussard, Jr.; sisters, Freda Ann Porter and Jessica M. Murray; brothers, Robert “Gene” Batiste, Shmar Donta Batiste, Joseph L. Murray Sr. and William J. Murray; his godmother, Verna Shelton; godson, Briston Thompson; three aunts and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends who will forever miss his presence.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Mae Clay Batiste; his father, Matthew L. Murray; his sister, Linda F. Williams; his maternal grandparents, Joseph Clay and Roberta Sias; his paternal grandparents, William Murray and Gracie L. Murray.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. until time of service.
