RAYNE - Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Audris J. Picard, 78, who passed away at his home in Scott surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 12:08 P.M.
Pastor Berl Adams, Pastor of The First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
The family has requested visitation to be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. until time of services all in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.
Survivors include his wife of fifty five years, Viola M. Picard; four sons, Ray A. and wife, Linda Picard, Sr. of Carencro, David and wife, Beverley Picard, Breaux Bridge, Derrick Picard of Scott, Will and wife, Lisa Picard of Baton Rouge; one brother, Calvin Picard of Opelousas; one sister, Lula Lantier of Lafayette; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Audris was preceded in death by one son, Greg J. Picard; one granddaughter, Brooklin Picard; one great-grandson, Austyn Ray Picard; his parents, Wilfred and Prevella Picard.
The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Curtis and his staff and the LAMM Hospice Group.
