Married to Gary Del Pylant June 25, 1976
Sharon Pylant, 54, of Downsville died June 10, 2014 as a result of a long battle with melanoma. Her family was by her side when she drifted away to be with the Lord.
She was born January 21, 1960 in Monroe, LA, one of 7 children born to the late Bobby and Myra Smith.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Joe and sisters, Judy, Diane, Glenda, Maroinette and Cynthia. She was a loving wife and friend of Gary Pylant for over 30 years and will forever be remembered and loved by her daughter Priscilla Watts and husband Brandon Watts, daughter Patricia Long and husband Joey Long; grandkids, Jarren Sant, Wyatt Watts and Vayne Long, and many other relatives and friends.
All services will be held at Farmerville First Assembly of God under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday 6-9pm at the church and the funeral service will be 1pm Saturday with Bro. Robbie Lawson officiating. Burial will take place at Ruggs Bluff Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Steve Bearden, Tyler Nance, Tommy Waldrop, Heath Pylant, Lucas Albritton and Mark Williams.
Flowers or donations should be sent to the church, located at 920 South Main St., Farmerville, LA 71241.
