Funeral services for Claude Kenny Pylant, 59, of Downsville, will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Nolan officiating Burial will be in Ruggs Bluff Cemetery near Downsville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville. Mr. Pylant, a contractor and member of Francis Creek Hunting Club, went to his heavenly home May 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents: Claude Freeman Pylant & Myrtis Pardue Pylant; & Grand-daughter, Destiny Pylant.

Left to cherish his memory is 1 son, Claude Alan Pylant; 2 daughters, Miranda Pylant and Krystal Pylant Rawls & husband Brandon; 2 brothers, Gary D. Pylant and Stevie Pylant & wife Glenda; 4 sisters, Sharon Roberson, Angela P. Wainwright, Claudette P. Dalrymple & husband Scott and Tonya Nance & husband Terry; 6 Grandchildren, Ashton, Logan, Shayna, Sabrina, C.J., and Easton; 1 Aunt, Gloria Antley; and his loyal and faithful four legged companion, "Buddy". Pallbearers will be Goree Antley, Roger Antley, Terry Alvis, Robbie Antley, Steven Murray and Duane Simpson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lonnie Dale Antley, Brandon Watts and members of Francis Creek Hunting Club. Visitation is 5:00-8:00pm Monday at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
