JOSEPH "JODY" MICHAEL McNEESE, Age 45 and a resident of Franklinton passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 in a fatal car accident. He was a loving father and owner/operator of McNeese Drywall for multiple years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lisa Jenkins McNeese, one daughter and son in law Melissa and Lander Thomas and one son and his girlfriend B.J. McNeese and Kasey Gaither all of Franklinton.
Other survivors include his mother, Elouise Jones, father, Donald Wayne McNeese; mother and father in law Joyce and Gill Sorrell all of Franklinton. Five brothers and sisters in law: Jeff and Mildred McNeese of Hattiesburg, MS, Steve and Angela McNeese of Bogalusa, LA, Bill and Shone McNeese of Franklinton, LA, Scott McNeese of Franklinton, Randy and Mindy McNeese of Henleyfield, MS; sister in law and brother in law Cindy and Jason "Bubba" Taylor of Franklinton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 5 PM until 9 PM Friday, March 5, 2010 and after 9 AM Saturday. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Lerand Hunt, Eld. Don Jacobs, and Rev. Harold Gaddy officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery
Active pallbearers are Jarrett Malley, Pat Lott, Payton McNeese, David Smith, Rafeal Rodriquez and Brad Hightower. Honorary pallbearers are John Ladner, Danny Bradford, Duane McNeese, Shane McNeese, Travis Miley and Brent Jones.
